Eek! Be sure to report the bugs or your concerns. |
They will! They will!
To me it seems like they just renamed Pocket MSN and added some fancy graphics.

Folks who have access to the Beta, can read my feedback over here:
https://connect.microsoft.com/feedb...&SiteID=197
Please rate this feedback.
And for those who do not have access to the Beta, this is the feedback I posted. I gave it the title "Memory Hog."
My Feedback wrote: |
"I may be a little extreme by giving this feedback the title of "Memory Hog" but the problem is that this product is aimed for a mobile device that has limited resources. Especially storage memory.
- Before I installed the application I had 3.5MB storage memory, and post install I had only 1.75MB or so.
- I didnt get the prompt to install this program to my device/storage card. It went straight to my device memory.
- When I perform the first sync, why can't I configure whether I want to sync contact and email or just one of the two.
- How come for email download, I cannot specify to download only a 1 days worth of emails or 2 days or 3 days or 50 mails.
- How come for email download, the program by default downloads the folders as well. By default ONLY the Inbox should be synced. The rest of the folders must be on demand, the user must request/enable it.
Overall the application assumes that memory is plenty. But it squeezes the storage memory which is scarse to begin with on a Smartphone." |

Uninstalled it!
This Beta is not for me. It has the same problems as the Pocket MSN. Plus adds new problems for me.
On the plus side it looks fancy. And it even downloads the contacts from your MSN account. |
i was just about to install it until i read this. i cant go below 4mb or i cant mms and i use mms a lot so im holding off till they fix it

Speaking of principle, where is my invite? |
Well, at this point, I'm guessing that you didn't get in fast enough and all the tester positions are filled. But thanks for coming out.

I think it has potential. It is slooooow though. But I like the idea of an integrated "communications center".
More options are needed.
RSS should have more Newsbreak type options.
Email should be configurable and Replace the current messages app. Not work along side of it.
Synchronization should let the user define timed synchronization intervals.
Mostly....it is just a dressed up PocketMSN. But as they add more functionality, it should show it's value.
