Tip : Verizon users - Improve Roaming...

This trick improves the roaming performance of Verizon phones.

If you have a Verizon cell phone you can punch in *228, click 'Send' or 'OK' and prompt 2. Repeat this every 2 to 3 months and it will update your Roaming profile and give you better reception when calling.

I have done that before but it really did not help that much for my service. Does it work really well for you?

This updates the PRL (Prefered Roaming List) and should be done monthly.

I've been doing it for some time. It does seem to help. I get service after doing that that I couldn't before.
