Earlier while reporting the Asus P305 press release we were not sure if it is a Smartphone or a Pocket PC Phone edition. Our readers will be happy to know that the Asus P305 is a Smartphone and the folks who have been waiting for a new clam-shell Smartphone will be very pleased to see this one.
Asus P305 a Smartphone that supports 3G. Click on the image for the hi-res version (359KB) of the photograph.
Check out the keypad, it looks like there are some dedicated buttons for the pIE browser, IM and possibly contacts. I like the layout of buttons on the keypad. What are your thoughts?

Now this is more like it! I prefer this to the i-mate flip at least in the looks department.

In case anyone is curious - the video conferencing camera is positioned right next to the P305 label below the screen.

Wow this is exciting! I've been waiting on a wm5 flip phone. I like my MPX220 a lot, but I wish the screen was bigger, had QVGA and a decent camera. I'll either get this, the HTC Startrek or the Nokia N80.

This phone looks awesome! I saw it in profile via a photo the other day and it's VERY thin - almost as thin as the RAZR, which is very impressive.

I hope someone brings this to the US.
I am tired of only candybar smartphones in the US (An for me the MPX 220 does not count.
