Last month we posted about PayPal's intentions on going mobile. Well, it looks like they did it. You can now send payments from your mobile phone. Once you've activated your phone with PayPal, you can then send payments via Text Message or by calling a 1-800 number. You can learn more about PayPal Mobile here. You need to be logged in to PayPal for this link to work.

Sweet, you can activate any phone on your account, not just mobile phones.

Hopefully vendors will pick up this service - but I doubt it - it has to be easy and less costly or they won't do it.
