Looks like Motorola is getting the marketing in place for the Q. You have to admit, they've done a heck of a job on this website. I think it looks really nice. The webpage hints at an April availability, but I wouldn't put that in your calendar just yet. We've heard a lot of different ship dates from Motorola since the Q was originally announced. It's best to just wait until you see it in your local Verizon store. Hopefully all the delays spell extra good quality control and an excellent finished product. I'm hopeful anyway.

I confess that I signed up to be notified of Q news from Moto many months ago when it was first announced. It is an attractive device and this new website stirred those feelings in me again.
But then I quickly recall my previous Moto smartphone experience and all of my experiences with Verizon and the hold of this Siren is broken.
The Moto Q is beautiful, but my Cingular Q (as in Quasimodo, aka the 2125) is my true and faithful love.

Ditto on everything randalllewis said baby.
Moto better put out something that actually works this time or no-one will take them seriously in the future.

Maybe I'm missing something, but why would anyone buy one of these rather than a Treo?
C'mon Moto - it you want to make a Treo beater, it would help if it was actually better!

Moto could really be the come back kid if they do this right. I'm hoping they do it right.

It's not a Treo killer. It's a BlackBerry killer.

Can anyone confirm that it ships with AKU2? Some of the less reliable sources of information are saying that it won't.
A Blackberry killer without push e-mail? Good job, Motorola!

The biggest advantage is the scroll wheel, for the single handed operation. Then there is the better resolution. Also the slim form factor.
I am not sure if the readers would agree with this one, but I think lack of on the Moto Q touch screen is a good thing (compared to Treo 700w), this way the user is trained for single handed operation using the scroll wheel and clicks thru scroll wheel, as opposed to pulling out the stylus just because it is there. I know it is a crazy theory, but sometimes less offers more functionality, because the users will not get baffled with too ways to do the same thing.
