Anybody ever forget to put their phone on silent at work?
I forgot to the other day and was sitting in the cafeteria at work eating breakfast. The cafeteria is pretty quiet (and big). My wife calls and her .mp3 ringtone, the Beastie Boy's song "Girls", starts blaring out of my phone filling the entire room with the chorus and of course I can't get to it fast enough to shut it off, mainly because I am fumbling around with it trying to get it shut off. Oh well, could have been worse. I am paranoid about shutting if off before I go to meetings in a conference room. Especially with the songs I have chosen for .mp3 ringtones (Metallica's "Seek and Destroy", Poison's "Ain't Nuthin' but a Good Time").

Laughing funny

Here's a little tip for you, press the volume button (up or down, doesn't matter) and it will silence the ringtone until you have a chance to answer it. Wink

Good tune, BTW.

During Shabbat service in synagogue last Friday - someone's phone went off - and they must not have realized it was theres (or were to embarassed to reach for it) and it continued for a while - long enough for the Rabbi to make a joke about it!

A relatively well known MVP tells a cute story about how he recorded his young daughter saying "Daddy, answer the phone." He was somewhat embarrassed to have that emanating, with increasing volume, from the airplane overhead bin. Wink

That's a great story. I think I might even get my kids to record that too. Very Happy
