Is it possible to turn off the 3 to 4 second external screen time out that happens when I close my 220. It's kinda annoying.

I want to figure that out too. Sad Seems like Moto did it to conserve battery. But the point of the external mini screen is to know the status and time. Evil or Very Mad

Here you go try this

Arrow HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Controlpanel/Backlight/CMCS_SLCDTimeout
It is in milliseconds (60000 for 60 seconds). You will have to reboot the phone after changing it for it to take effect. It you really don't want it to ever go off, set the value to 0, then toggle back once more and it will then go to the largest number available (I think it works out to like a month).

In settings you can set it to 5,10,15,30 seconds. Not as flexible but it is something. There might be a key someplace to get the in between settings or longer perhaps.
