Paul from MoDaco has managed to get his hands on i-mates new SPL Smartphone. While the review is still in the works, Paul is answering questions and posting a couple pictures of the device. I really like the looks of this device. It's a little taller than the SP5, but it's a whole lot thinner! Expansys has the SPL listed and they are expecting stock in November. It's going to selling for $415 USD - that's a pretty decent price too!

Yes but why does everything have to look like a RAZR now?

Well I haven't seen the sides of it yet. Too soon to start popping Champagne corks. Laughing

Love the way the keypad glows in dark. And it is amazingly thin, and has miniSD instead of microSD and standard mini-USB. Wow! Shocked

Shame on HTC for converting to microSD and proprietary USB and claiming that they did it because of size. :twak:
