"SmartToolkit is an application for Windows Mobile Smartphones. It adds new functions such as text editing and resolves limitations with resources as well as provides interface improvements! Start Menu Function is now partially working (the quick launch is still in development)"
I haven't tried this utility yet but SmartToolKit looks like it has nifty little addons for your Windows Smartphone. From the Start menu you can restart and shutdown your phone. You can also access "all programs", "system settings", and your "my documents" folder. I'll probably take it for a spin later but if any of you have tried SmartToolKit, let us know what you think. Is it a worthwhile utility or just clutter? Either way, the nice thing is - it's free

Don't forget it's just an alpha release. But it has great potential and the developer is very enthousiastic. It has some very usefull features like cut/copy/paste. The startmenu works like your XP or Vista start menu, an easy to access task manager and an easy way of making a screenshot. Very friendly on the resources. Playing with the various builds he posted for a week now and getting more and more enthousiastic about this little tool. It could be a real addition to a Smartphone.

Looks neat! Has anyone tried this on a landscape device yet?

OK, it's now on my Dash and I must say I like it. Works great. It's definitely an alpha program but I see lots of potential with this.

This looks like a very promising app but doesn't work on the Blackjack yet.
The program runs and when you hit the Home key it brings up the new start bar...problem is none of the soft keys work, so all that I can do is bring the Start menu up and down

I liked the program in that it enables you to soft reset and access some of the files quickly.
It does seem to slow down my phone a bit, but, then again, I have a million and one programs going.
