so i know the new vcast phones and some sony ericcsons can listen (record) a song for a brief period, then identify it (via some db or something).

is there a similar program/service for windows mobile devices?

Cingular has a song ID service, but it only works on their phones, and only select phones of their too I think. The Blackjack is equipped for it. You have to pay a monthly fee, too.

There are free online song databases, but I haven't seen any applications which use those.
