backup and restore SMS text messages

How can I backup my messages, then restore them? I want to update the ROM on my star trek, but I want to restore my text messages...

I see there is SMS Exporter, but it doesn't have a restore function.

Does sprite offer a solution, or spb, or someone?

I believe Sprite backup will accomplish this for me (i'd backup only email/texts, or a limited backup, and restore that).

i wish there were a cheaper solution though

There's also a couple free ware tools around - and I think Jeyo has a tool for this. You should find a number of things if you search these forums. Wink

I was using Jeyo Mobile Extender with Outlook. Because of all the syncing problems I have been having with WMDC I haven't used it in a while. They have a trial version.
