Has anyone had difficulty changing the profile from headset back to normal or any other choice? I cannot get it to switch, even after unplugging the headset, manually trying to change the profile through the menus, or even through a hard reset.

Any ideas?

Additionally, I've never been able to get the speakerphone option to work, though I've read elsewhere that holding down the "talk" button for a few seconds during a call will activate this. I'm assuming I can try it if I ever get out of the headset mode.

Thanks in advance,

GE

Sorry - Audiovox 5600 from AT&T, now on Cingular

Ok, well there is no question that the 5600 supports speakerphone on the talk key. I would hazzard a guess that SpeakerPhone isn't working becuase of it being stuck on headset.

My guess as to why it won't come off headset is that you might have some dirt or lint stuck in the jack. Try blowing into the jack, or maybe use a can of compressed air. Also repeatedly inserting and removing the headset should loosen whatever it is and allow it to toggle back.

Let us know how it goes. Cool
