New EMXI 700 Smartphone Coming in Q2

Yesterday, Pocket PC Thoughts ran a story about a hot new Windows Mobile device - the AXIA 308, that's going to be available next month. This device looks a lot like a Smartphone, but it's actually a Pocket PC Phone Edition device. While I was checking out the website, I noticed another Windows Mobile device - the EMXI 700, and this one is a Smartphone. It's scheduled for Q2 of 2006, which is really just a month away. Other than VoIP and WiFi, we don't know much about this Smartphone, but we'll keep a watch on it and let you know when it hits the street.

With VOIP and WiFi we know Cingular won't be carrying it.

There is no way they can make any $$$ off a device with VOIP and WiFi.
