I was wondering what kind of speed one should expect using a 2125 with a Cingular data plan? I tested my phone with dslreports.com/mspeed and got results between about 384kbit/s and 450. How about other folks? Is there any way to improve things?

I don't have a frame of reference for good speeds with Edge, which is why I asked. It that's what one should or can expect, that's fine. I just didn't want to miss an "edge" if there was one.

300+ is unnatually good, far beyond what's supposed to be the theoretical capacity of EDGE (240 Kbits). My 2125 is running between 100 and 160 Kbits.

What are you using to text connection speed? I just got my 2125 and am trying to learn everything I can.
Thanks.

check out the thread I linked to above. It's got a link to a couple different tools to measure your speed.
