Is anybody using the 2125 cingular with t-mobile? I bought the phone unlocked on ebay. It works great but unfortunately I cannot send and receive mms. Talked to t-mobile and put in their settings but still not working. They say it might not be compatible. Can't believe that. Help!!! Please.

Make sure you have 4 MB of free Storage memory. (task manager, Menu system info) otherwise it won't work. The patch for this is in the next ROM update - which is coming soon I hope. Wink

Your miniSD card has nothing to do with the amount of Storage memory available. Storage memory is the amount or RAM that is free and available for use when running a program. Your Storage card is like a hard disk. It only provides storage space not execution space.

Launch the Task Manager (you can find it in the Start Menu) and press Menu / System Info. Then check the amount of free Storage Memory. Let us know what it says. Very Happy

as mike stated, you will not be able to send a MMS unless you have 4MB or more of free space Sad

also are you using the unlimited data plan ($19.99) or are you using the T-Zone hack with proxie?

I am not using any other t-mobile plans. Only unlimited mms and sms for $9.99. How can I free up some memory space? I just got this phone and have nothing on there, just my contacts. Can I delete any programs that came with it and I don't use?

Was this a new phone? For a brand new device, there sure is a lot of space used. Check under Start / Settings / Remove Programs and let us know what's listed there.

Also, clear out the IE Mobile cache is always a good place to start. Start / IE / Menu / Options / Memory - then select the different memory type and select Menu / Clear.

Yes, it was a new phone. I bought it unlocked on ebay. I tried to remove programs, but there are none listed. Also there is nothing to clear under temporary files, cookies or history. It shows 0 bytes on all of them.

Ok, first thing you should do is a hard reset. You don't want any of the crap from the last owner. Besides, it's better to start with a fresh device.

To hard reset click Start / Accessories / Clear Storage and follow the steps on the screen. Be sure to have your device charged and plugged in when you do it.

Once the hard reset is done, check the free memory again and I expect you'll find 12MB free or so.
