It is two Motorola Q's.
I did start new and wiped out the partnerships...I think. What I did was go into ActiveSync on the Q and delete it. Is that what you mean?

That would be correct.

Connie, is this right? Are both devices a Motorola Q? Not that it should matter, I'm just trying to understand the situation. |
Maybe it does matter, it is only an issue for the Q, though that would be very strange behavior.

So after many hours on the phone with Verizon and Motorola, it appears that Active Sync will let you sync more than one device, but they can't be the same device - eg, two Motorola Q's - even if they have different names.
The solution appears to be to use ActiveSync for one device and Verizon's Mobile Sync for the other. A bit of a pain, and I haven't quite got the email sync working right yet, but at least now I can sync the calendars.

That's really silly. ActiveSync really should allow you to do that. I cannot for the life of me understand why MS has put so little effort into making this essential utility.

That's not Active Sync. I'm able to sync 2 i-mate SP5m's without an problem. It must be something with the Q. Regardless, it's pretty sad that such a simple thing isn't possible with the Q.

I'd rather blame ActiveSync. |
Wow, that would be a huge design flaw on the part of Microsoft. I doubt it.
In the past we have at my work had couple of Pocket PCs of the same type, we have established partnership and synced. Two HP iPaq 2210s.
I am lost on this one.

I say we post this on the front page and find out from our readers if they have experienced this problem.
