Hi,

I still have att wireless account and i just bought this new Cingular 2125 smartphone. I already unlocked it to work with my ATT wireless sim card, but now i need to setup internet access. Any ideas what are the settings and how do i set them?

Thank you in advance,
Andrey

I've spent a night googling for the settings and trying different combinations and finally!!! i've got 'em and hurry to share:

1. Start->Connections->GPRS
You can edit the existing Cingular connection "MEdia Net GPRS" or remove it and add a new one.

Connects to: Internet
Access point: proxy
Username: <blank>
Passowrd: <blank>
Primary DNS: 0.0.0.0
Secondary DNS: 0.0.0.0
IP Address: <blank>

2. Start->Connections->Proxy
You can edit existing proxy "Cingular WAP" or remove it and create a new one.

Connects from: Internet
Connects To: WAP Network
Proxy: wap.mobile.attwireless.net:8080
Type: HTTP
Username: <blank>
Password: <blank>

It all workd pretty good and seems to give EDGE speeds with my ATT Wireless sim card. Also tried tethering with my laptop and that also works fine.

I hope it helps You, The Last ATT Wireles Mohigans Smile
