Has anyone who ordered the new Hw6945 gotten a ship date sooner than 09/21/2006???
And will we be seeing enough HP Smartphones/PDA phones interest to have an HP Hardware forum???

the 6945 is actually a Pocket PC device. You'll find a lot more people talking about it over at our sister site Pocket PC Thoughts

Hi Mike,
I've been a member over there for years - from my ipaq 3650 to my 4700. But as I mentioned in another thread, I think there is getting to be a blurring between just what is/are these newer PC phones. In my own case, I feel fairly comfortable with WM5/PPC. But I really feel like a newbie on the Phone side of the device. I am moving from two devices (phone and PPC) to a convergence device because I feel the newer models finally have the power, memory and other goodies (GPS) to replace my PPC. So I'm thinking others who have not previously "Converged" may be doing so soon. And there might be more interest in the Phone side of the converance devices. And the PPC guys are probably really going to hack these new devices too.
JMHO...

Ah yes. Me bad. I knew that. Sorry. I get so use to typing that reply that sometimes I don't even think about what I'm doing.

Mine just shipped and is supposed to arrive tomorrow the 19th - just got an email from HP - I'm stoked cause originally they told me it wasn't going out until the 22nd.

The 2125. I might just keep it though. Just wouldn't use it regularly.

I just gave up my 2125 for a Cingular 3125. I sold the 2125 for $150 and bought the 3125 for $119 through Cingular's Business Care department. Good trade I thought

The 3125 is really nice. I missed having a flip phone.
