"Tired of looking at blurry pics of the HTC Vox? Do you have the hunger to see more? Look no further my gadget friends! We just got this in our inbox this morning and boy do they look good. They moved the spacebar to a reasonable position and also added 4-way navigation arrows on the keyboard."
At long last, we can finally look upon the Vox in crystal clear Photoshop images. It's actually starting to grow on me. I'm still not sure that I would give up my BlackJack for it. What do you think?

I assume that the screen switches to landscape when the keyboard is opened (a la TyTn), yes? |
It does, according to accounts I've seen. Unfortunately, that is going to wreak havoc on some homescreens.

Good point. Never thought of that.
Wish there was a home screen for portrait and one for landscape.

Well, I have to say this....
As an owner of the HTC 620, 3125, 2125 and the ST5600 ALL of the HTC phones have looked nice -- until you own one.
Each of those phones has bugs which effect many people on a daily basis but between the service providers and HTC these problem seeminly never get fixed.
I'm hoping another company comes out with something equally compelling and will support their phones with ROM updates when problems are discovered.
Too bad too. It looks really cool (even if it doesn't appear to have 3G support).

Having owned most of those, I would agree. I also think that's why I'm so pleased with the BlackJack - because it is something different.

I'll be taking a look at this. I like the idea of having a regular phone format with keypad, etc. and then being able to go landscape and have a full keyboard only when I need it. If it is a reasonable size, I may be interested. I'm using a blackjack, and quite happy with it, so I don't know that this will be compelling enough to get me to bite, especially with no 3g, but we'll see. Regardless, looks like a nice design.

I like my smartphone thin. The pull out keyboard increases the thickness, which makes the phone less attractive. If I need a full keyboard, I will take the Blackjack. If I just need a good looking candy bar phone, I will go with the imate SPL.

Cool looking phone. But if this is still the same dimensions as the 2125 I question the usability of the slide out keyboard. Those buttons have got to be small and close together.
