Pantech Duo 2 C820 in the Works for AT&T
Posted by Pete Paxton in "Smartphone News" @ 01:00 AM
"We've learned that Pantech and AT&T are apparently hard at work on the successor to the Duo C810 smartphone, a Windows Mobile 6 Standard device whose claim to fame is its dual slide mechanism in the same vein as the Pantech-sourced Helio Ocean. The Duo 2 -- model number C820, naturally -- is said to feature a rounded black case that recalls the look of Motorola's old MPx200 and clocks in with dimensions very close to those of the HTC Vox."
So do you own the first version of the Pantech Duo? Do you like it? What would you change? Maybe the change you'd make will be in the Pantech Duo 2. Some of the readers over at Engadget Mobile are frustrated that it has a proprietary charge. I have to admit that it is kind of annoying. I'd prefer all new devices to come with the mini usb charge but unlike the Dash, give it a separate standard headphone jack. Is this your next smartphone or are you going to bypass it?
