For those that are using the BlackJack on Cingular (or any other SmartPhone for that matter) and want to receive and send e-mail, here is the correct SMTP server info:
cwmx.com
In other words, if I wanted to use my BellSouth account on my BlackJack, I would need to enter the following:
POP3: mail.bellsouth.net
SMTP: cwmx.com (not mail.bellsouth.net)
Apparently, Cingular, like BellSouth, requires that you use their mail exchange to send mail as they are attempting to control SPAM. If this is old news, then I'm sorry for the repost. I just found out about this two days ago after much frustration getting my BlackJack to send e-mail.

I have no problems on using my own pop account for sending e-mail. The only thing that I have to do is check the box in setup where the outgoing server requires authentication.

Interesting. I was not able to send, and it was only after I changed the SMTP to cwmx.com that it worked. Odd...
