I've got something strange going on in my POP mail account. There is a "phantom" email shown in my Outbox when you select Menu > Folders. There is a blue "(1)" indicated beside Outbox in the email folder tree but when you select Outbox, there's nothing there. It's been like that for days already. Doesn't seem to hinder anything but it just bugs me, you know? What's going on here?
It sounds like the index is a little confused on that folder. The only way I can think of to fix something like this is to delete the account and recreate it.

Thanks Mike. I thought that would be the way to go as well. I hope I have all the server settings and passwords written down somewhere before I try this... Usually with me, something gets messed up and then I'm on hold with "technical service" for an hour
