Carry Your Memory In Style With Vaja's SD Keeper 4x

Posted by Mike Temporale in "HARDWARE" @ 10:00 AM

Style At All Levels
Even the box is dripping with style. It's small, sturdy, and has a huge overall cool factor to it. In fact, I still have the box because I can't bring myself to part with it. It's just too nice.

Size Matters
The SD Keeper is the perfect sized holder. It has a total of 4 SD slots, with each slot using "Push, Push" technology to hold your card in place. In case you are not familiar with Push, Push. It works the same way as the SD slot on your Smartphone. You push the SD card in until it clicks in place. Then to release the card, you push in again for the latch to release and eject the card.

Attention To Detail
If the wafting smell of leather when you open the box doesn't tell you that you're in the presence of a fine product, then maybe Vaja's attention to detail will. There is no wasted space here. In fact, I marvel at how Vaja can even assemble this. There is no sign of excess glue, stitching, or scissors marks. Every corner is edge seems to be a perfect fit.

Conclusions
The SD Keeper is not for everyone. Vaja is selling more than just a case to store your SD cards, it's also a fashion statement. The SD Keeper does offer features that you will never find in a cheap velcro-based flash memory carrier, like a hard shell, "Push Push" technology, and fine grain leather. These features are what put the Vaja SD Keeper in a league of its own.
