"Member v3patel over at XDA-Developers has created a program to quickly assign ringtones to contact categories. This should be a time saver for some users who want to assign the same ringtone to all contacts within the same category. The program is fairly easy to use, however, there is a restriction on where you must place ringtones. Head over to XDA-Developers to download the application."

What's not to like about this? A free ringtone manager that quickly let's you assign ringtones to contacts in various categories. Sounds like you just place your ringtones in a specific folder and you can assign away. Now when your phone rings, you'll know if it's your buddy, your spouse, or your boss! I haven't tried it yet but if you do be sure and post back here and let us know what you think.
